The beautifully thick Moroccan wool of this Berber rug will make for a truly stunning addition to your home, whilst the handwoven patterns and neutral tones will add timeless appeal. This high-quality Moroccan Beni Ourain rug was created naturally through time-tested methods using traditional looms handed down through the generations.
The wool used to weave the rugs is put through a distinct process that ultimately results in the unique appearance. The weaving methods are native to Moroccan Berber tribes women. The weaver typically starts by washing the rug with water from the Atlas Springs. The rug is then placed in direct sunlight where it is dried - a process which gives Berber rugs their signature ivory colour. We regularly travel to Morocco to maintain a mutually advantageous partnership with our suppliers. We can guarantee that our customers will receive only the highest quality, authentic Moroccan Berber rugs available.
Beni Ourain Rug Care
Don’t worry if you get an unexpected stain on your Berber rug - thanks to the natural lanolin within the wool the rug is naturally resistant to many everyday stains. Most stains can simply be wiped away with a damp sponge. If you need an all-over clean it is best to use a professional rug cleaner.
