Before buying your cowhide rug it is always a good idea to think about where in your home you would like to place it. 

We always recommend measuring the area where you would like to place your rug because some of them are quite large, and it is always wise to check you have sufficient space in your room - sounds obvious but it is a wise precautionary measure. 

We do provide the measurements of each cowhide with the description, but do bear in mind they are a guideline only, due to their irregular shape.

Cowhide rugs are a lot easier to care for than some traditional rugs, because they can be simply taken outside and given a shake to remove any debris.  Spills should be wiped up immediately with a damp sponge to prevent any staining to your rug. 

It is fine to vacuum your rug with a brush attachment but we recommend you vacuum in the direction of the hairs on the hide, to prevent any unwanted hair loss.
