Not only do cowhides make stylish, unique and eco-friendly rugs, but they are also great for other home decor uses too.  Here are a few funky and original ideas to spruce up your rooms with this organic and natural material.

Cowhides make fantastic furniture throws, and will complement the colour and texture of a leather chair or sofa perfectly.  They are ideal to snuggle up under when you are relaxing at home watching your favourite movie.  Try draping one over the arm of your sofa to add some texture and colour to your furniture.

You may also like to add an original, designer look to your bedroom by using your cowhide as a bed throw.  Cowhide is hypo allergenic so it is perfect for using as an extra layer, especially during those dark Winter months.  You could fold it over to cover just the foot of your bed and team it up with some colour co-ordinated bed linens to finish off the look.  Why not finish off with some funky cowhide cushions?

If you're looking for that perfect piece of original artwork to finish off your walls, why not consider using your cowhide as a wallhanging?  Depending on the size of the cowhide (and of course the size of your walls), they can be used to great effect to add an unusual and original way to decorate your walls.  We recommend you attempt this only in the larger rooms in your house because of the size of the cowhide.
